Rooney Signs Bumper £300,000-A-Week Contract

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney have signed another five and half year deal with his club.

The England international who would have spent 15years at Old Trafford at the end of his new deal in 2019 will earn £300,000 a week, making him the best paid player in the club history.

The new development brings to an end months of speculation about Rooney’s future after former coach Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that he had asked him to leave the club at the end of last season.

Rooney, 28, was also heavily linked with Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG last summer, but has decided to possibly end his career at United.
