South African Rapper Khuli Chana Shot By Policemen

Multiple award winning South African rapper Khuli Chana has been shot by policemen for a mistaken idendity for an armed robbery suspect while driving alone in his car around the early hours today.

Khuli Chana’s manager Rafiloe Ramogase confirmed the report and a tweet by MTV Base’s official twitter handle also confirmed it as it tweets “Breaking News: SA’s @Khulichana has been shot and injured by cops in an alleged case of mistaken identity. More details soon!”
In a statement released by the Police, their spokesperson Neville Malila said officers responded to an attempted murder case and they have been conducting secret operation in the area for some time now. They however fired shots when Khuli Chana’s car failed to stop.

Chana is said to have sustained bullet wound to his arm with a shrapnel lodged in his back. He is currently in the Hospital receiving treatment.

Ramogase, Chana’s manager said the rapper’s team will be pressing charges later today.
