BAD DAY FOR CROONER IYANYA; Gets Poor Rating At Elite Show

It wasn't really a rosy day for one of the country's music aces, Iyanya. He got the negative side of fans and song lovers recently when he performed alongside other stars such as Joe, Drug Hill, Billy Ocean, Tiwa Savage, David, Kcee, Davido, D'Prince, Wizkid, Chidinma, and more. It was an anticipated elite event which was going well until Iyanya mounted the stage.

The well packed Eko Hotel & Suites became an instant bore as frenzied fans who were anxious for more fun went cold. Of course, they were dragged along till the show ended.

Meanwhile, rating each acts' performance later on, on-air-personalities, Hollywood J. and Olaitan, both presenters on Ray-Power radio, scored Iyanya the lowest.

Their 'Ultimate Morning Show' programme for the day focused its better parts on crooner Iyanya.

''Iyanya's performance was really bad, he killed everyone's spirit. Seriously, everyone was disappointed with Iyanya's performance; the dude really needs to do more works if he wants to remain relevant. At some point, people almost booed him off the stage, he realized this too and tried changing songs, but still the performance was a No.... no...... he should be creative with his songs...'' they exchanged between themselves on air. Of course, the singer did his best, but the odds did not just favour him at that popular event.
