Entry submission for AMAA 2013 closes January 30

Ahead of the 2013 edition of the Africa Movies Academy Awards, organisers have announced the deadline for the submission of materials.

In a statement issued by the organisers, the jury will stop accepting entries on Wednesday, January 30, 2012 and will release the nomination list in the first week of March.

Some of the genres acceptable for this year includes feature length films of about 120 minutes and shorts and documentary of about 40 minutes.  The works must have been released between December 2011 and November 2012.

The Peace Anyiam-Osigwe led event kicked off in 2005 and has since become one of the biggest movie honours events on the continent, with some nicknaming it the Oscars of Africa.
