Abuja - The Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers says it will down tools if the federal government fails to meet the demands of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Vanguard reports.
The union noted that the way the government has been acting on the ASUU strike portrayed it as unconcerned about the suffering of the Nigerian students.
It urged the government to respect the agreement it signed with ASUU in 2009, adding that the government should see itself as an employer of labour.
