Akwa Ibom Cabinet Reshuffle: 3 Commissioners, Special Adviser Dismissed

Mr. Aniekan Umanah, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, revealed the appropriate statement in Uyo on October 7, 2013, Monday.

The minor cabinet reshuffle was with immediate effect and affected Commissioners for Transport, Mr. Austin Mbeh, Economic Development, Mr. Sunny Anyang and Commerce and Industry, Mr. Martins Udoinyang. Mr. Samuel Frank, the Special Adviser, Sports and Youth Development, , was also dropped from the cabinet, according to the statement.

The statement said that the governor expressed appreciation to the former members of the state Executive Council for their services to the state. “The governor also wished them success in their future endeavours,” the statement added.

The cabinet reshuffle in Akwa Ibom was the second in 2013.
