50 Cent is maintaining his innocence after be charged with domestic violence and vandalism. The 38-year-old rapper pleaded not guilty in an L.A. court on Monday, Aug. 5.
According to The Associated Press, 50 Cent was ordered to stay away from ex-girlfriend Daphne Narvaez, and turn in all his weapons.
50 Cent -- who was shot nine times in 2000 -- was accused of kicking Narvaez and destroying her L.A. condo during an argument on June 23. Narvaez said she had a 3-year relationship with the rapper, and is the mother of his child. (50 Cent is father to son Marquise, 15, with ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins.)
The "How We Do" singer was charged with domestic violence and four counts of vandalism. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison and pay $46,000 in fines. A pretrial hearing has been set for Sept. 4.
