Kim Kardashian Unusually Mum on Baby as Kris and Khloé Speak Out

Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, with mom Kris Jenner
Throughout her entire first pregnancy, Kim Kardashian has been her usually outspoken self. The reality TV star is very active on social media, and documents the most mundane moments of her life. That's why we're surprised it's been 24 hours since she gave birth and we haven't heard a peep from her about her new baby. However, Kim's mom and one of her sisters did tweet about their family's new addition on Sunday.

Here's what we know so far. Kim gave birth Saturday morning to her first child, a daughter, with new dad Kanye West. Although no name has been announced yet, an E! Online source says, "Kim told friends and family in weeks leading up to the birth that the name 'will start with a K.'"

E! also reports that it was a natural birth, West was by her side during it, their baby girl weighed in at "under five pounds," and, "She has dark hair. She looks just like Kim."

"omg! Insider's" Michael Yo caught up with Kris Jenner at the Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday where she spoke briefly about her new granddaughter. After Yo wished Jenner congratulations, she then replied, "I'm on Cloud Nine."

"Now, everybody is saying it's premature five pounds," Yo asked. "Is she healthy?"

"Everybody is good," Jenner replied. "She's beautiful and we're all so happy."

Jenner and Khloe Kardashian were the first to break the family silence on Sunday about the news that Kim was indeed now a mom. Jenner was first, with well wishes for new dad, Kanye West.

Her tweet was followed by Instragram pic from Kim BFF Jonathan Cheban (referencing "3 grand kids" now for the family matriarch), and also some well wishes from Kim's sister, Khloe Kardashian Odom:

Khloe also posted a Father's Day Instagram pic of all of the fathers in her family, and followed it up with the following tease promising more information soon:

And no doubt, that time will probably be soon!
